Hey guys! October is right around the corner and that means autumn air and festive feels and of course, Halloween! And these pillows are just the perfect way to add a festive spirit to your home. I’ve made three different Halloween themed pillows and today I’ll be showing you how I made them and how you can make them yourselves(:

And if you don’t feel like you can make them yourselves, I am selling some through paypal. So if you would like one, leave me a comment and let me know(:

Things you will need:

1. Fabric of your choice

2. Fiber stuffing

3. Sewing needle and thread

4. Tape measure

5. Scissors

I got my fabric and stuffing from my local fabric store and the rest of the supplies I already had at home.

So I started off with laying out the fabric on my floor. If it’s not already folded in half, which it should be when bought from the fabric store, then just fold it in half and lay it out. Then I took my tape measure and measured out about 18 1/4 inch for both height and width and cut that out, so it’s a big square. You should have two of them.

Next, I flipped the two pieces over and put them back together so that it’s inside out. The nice looking sides of the fabric should be on the inside and the faded ugly sides on the outside.

I forgot to take a photo before I started sewing, so here’s one with just a little bit of sewing on it.

Then you stitch together the two pieces of fabric, only completing 3 of the 4 sides.

Once the three sides are sewn together, turn the fabric back right side out. The seam should look nice and you shouldn’t be able to see the stitching at all.

This is where you’d start stuffing the pillow with your fluff(: You can add more or use less depending on whether or not you want a firm or soft throw pillow.

Once you’ve stuffed it to your liking, just sew up the remaining side using a slip stitch or whatever stitching you prefer and voila! You have yourself a cute and awesome Halloween throw pillow!
