Hey guys! Hope everybody has been having a great week! Please enjoy a few photos I took at a friend’s party last week(:
Please enjoy these photos I took last week while I was walking through the Linq and the Flamingo in Las Vegas(:
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope everyone has a great day(:
Last week my boyfriend and I went to one of my favorite places in Las Vegas and walked around to take some cool photos. It was fun to share my favorite place with him, even though it was hot and would have been much nicer in the fall or winter. But I’m glad he wanted to go with me.
Here’s a compilation of some fun shots we took together that day. Hope you enjoy!
Thank you for stopping by my blog!
So I turned 22 years old yesterday. Not that it really means anything because I still look like I’m 16 lol
Thanks to my boyfriend, I actually had a pretty dope birthday. I woke up with my boyfriend wishing me a happy birthday again, I went to go see my parents in the early afternoon and they took me out for lunch and dessert, then I went home for a bit to see my cute boyfriend and kiss his face, but he was out grocery shopping cause he was going to be cooking dinner for us. (How romantic) He basically told me that I couldn’t be home from like 6-7 so he gave me $100 of guilt free money to spent on anything I wanted at Sephora lol
I went to the mall and got some stuff I’ve been running out of and also some things I’ve been wanting to try but too lazy to go buy it myself.
I ended up getting a new glow kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I got my palette in ‘Sun Dipped’, which comes with bronzed, summer, tourmaline, and moonstone and they’re all gorgeous as fuck!
I bought a new Sephora eyebrow brush. It’s just a normal angled eyebrow brush so I didn’t feel like taking a photo of it lol
I got a pair of Huda lashes in Samantha #7. They’re really long and pretty and more importantly, they’re wispy as fuck. I don’t normally like false lashes since I have eyelash extensions, but recently I’ve been letting my extensions naturally fall out so I can get a new set completely. So in the meantime, if I’m wearing false lashes I want the good shit.
And lastly I picked up the Benefit They’re Real mascara to try it out. I’ve been wanting to try this mascara out for a while now but I haven’t gone to buy it until now. I got the small travel size one because I only put mascara on my bottom lashes so I felt like if I bought the regular sized tube it would have just been a waste. It’s so cute and small and I think it’ll be perfect for my bottom lashes.
My boyfriend said that I had to spend the whole $100 guilt free but I only spent $88 at Sephora. I couldn’t find something I wanted to use the rest of the $12 on cause the other things I wanted were like $50.(I actually ended up using that left over money on gas today)
I came home at 7 like my boyfriend said to and he came out to greet me at my car with a little crown and a happy birthday balloon(: He ended up not making dinner, but throwing a little surprise party instead with our friends. I didn’t know he was going to be surprising me with a party but then people starting popping out of bathrooms and closets lol
And the rest of the night consisted of getting drunk, playing beer pong and Cards Against Humanity, and weird conversations. It was an awesome surprise and a great night with great people. Thanks to my boyfriend for putting that together last minute(:
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Hope everyone has a great day(:
Yesterday, I randomly decided to go to the Extreme Thing Music Festival in Las Vegas at the last second. I originally wanted to go because I wanted to see my new favorite band State Champs play along with Mayday Parade, but my boyfriend couldn’t come to Vegas to go with me and I really didn’t want to go alone. But then I saw the line up for this summers Warped Tour and both State Champs and Mayday Parade where gonna be at warped, with all of my other favorite bands so I basically wasn’t missing out if I didn’t go see them at Extreme Thing. So then I decided I wasn’t going to go to Extreme Thing and I was just gonna catch all my favorite bands at Warped.
But then yesterday morning when I woke up at 11:40 I had a text from my friend asking if I was going. She told me she was almost there and she was going alone so I told her if she’s going I’ll totally go with her. She didn’t really want to be alone either so I decided to go to Extreme Thing lol
And after I asked what time State Champs was playing I got ready in 15 minutes and ran out of the house. It was noon when I left and it takes about 25 minutes to get to the venue from my house, plus time for parking and having to walk in and buy my ticket, so I was expecting to get in around 12:40 so I could see State Champs play at 2.
Well when I got there at about 12:30, I met up with my friend and we had no idea it was going to be as crazy as it was. The line was sooooo long, like there were so many people still waiting to get in. Which was crazy to me because it opened at 11am and almost 2 hours later there’s still a massive line of people waiting. The previous years I would show up around noon and I would buy my ticket and just walk in.
We ended up standing in line for about an hour, and after some complications we finally got in, literally 10 minutes before State Champs was playing 😭 and I was like WE HAVE TO FIND THE STAGE THEY’RE ON!! But we had the hardest time finding the stage because they had changed the stage names that were online so nothing was what it was originally named, and even after asking event staff and security they didn’t even know the stage names, and we had like 5 minutes and I randomly found a guy walking with a program guide so I asked him if I could see it and we found where State Champs was playing and ran over to the crowd and pushed our way in and into the front/middle.
I had been wanting to see them live for a while now so I was so pumped! And I guess so was everyone else because the crowd was crazy and everybody was into it, everybody was hyped and had a great time. State Champs were soooo goood. They had great energy, and they sounded amazing live. I literally had the time of my life in that crowd lol
Then after, the vocalist said he was going to be by one of the tents meeting everyone so we went there after to meet him and he was so nice. And sweaty lol but everyone was. He met everyone and we all got to talk to him for a bit, so that was nice(:
Basically after that my life was complete and I didn’t really care about anything else all day.
My friend and I spent the rest of the day going from stage to stage to see the bands we wanted to see. We waited at the barricade for almost an hour to be front and center for Bayside, who I only knew like one song to, but they are my friends favorite band, and I could definitely see why! I had heard their music a little before, but even though I didn’t know their lyrics, they were incredible! I had such a great time watching them up close, and you could see all the members smiling and loving what they do. Their performance was so good I could literally just watch them all day.
After their set, we ran all the way back to the stage where Mayday Parade was playing, so we could be in the crowd for them and when we got there we were like FUCK. Cause their crowd was huge! But again, we pushed our way into the crowd and got where we wanted to be.
And then when they came on it got so crazy. Literally, pits opening up and people getting thrown in and tossed around, so many people crowd surfing and falling on top of each other. I am not kidding, you couldn’t really watch and enjoy the show too much because you were too busy either avoiding or carrying a crowd surfer every 10 seconds and trying not to get squished and fallen on. I kid you not. I still had a lot of fun and I love being in crazy crowds like that. I can’t tell you how many times someone fell on me during that show or how many times we got kicked in the face by crowd surfers lol like I have battle wounds and bruises on my body from that crowd. It was crazy awesome!
Everybody was crowd surfing for Mayday Parade and things got intense. My friend got flattened when a fat girl tried to crowd surf and fell on top of her and knocked her ass out. Seriously, she blacked out lol A nice random guy helped pick her up so security could take her out, then I asked him to lift me up too so I could crowd surf to the barricade and get out to make sure she was alright. We ended up getting to sit side stage for Mayday Parade and get catered to with EMT’s and cold water lol so it really wasn’t too bad. My friend got some air and water and they cleaned her up since she was bleeding, but overall she was fine. And getting to sit side stage was kind of a bonus.
The crowd was absolutely crazy! Definitely not the craziest crowd I’ve ever been in, but still Mayday Parade’s crowd yesterday made it pretty high on my list.
Overall, it was a really great day. I had a lot of fun, and I’m glad I decided to go. To be honest, it was really refreshing going to Extreme Thing again. It sort of brought me back to my roots and the kind of music I’ve always loved to see live and go crazy to. I’ve been going to shows in LA but the crowds there are so boring to be honest. Like they don’t do anything other then just stand around and watch. I’m used to shows in Vegas where everybody is hyped and the energy is so high, everybody is singing and jumping around and crowd surfing. Being a part of the craziness is what’s fun for me. If I’m not in the middle of the crowd dancing and jumping around or at the barricades at the very front then I’d rather not be there. If i’m just gonna stand on the side and watch then what’s the point? Like that’s not fun for me lol
But I’m glad I did go and hung out with my friend and enjoyed the day together.
Thanks for stopping by! And have a great day everyone(:
Hello! And welcome back to my blog(: Today I’m going to give an overview and talk about my new instant camera.
Back in December, my boyfriend bought me an Instax Mini 8 camera from Fujifilm. First, I want to say that I absolutely love this little camera. I think it’s so fun to bring around and make memories with and I’m very happy that I’m a proud owner of one.
I got my Instax Mini 8 camera in black and also got two 20 packs of film with it, which gives me a total of 40 instant exposures.
It was a total of $120 for everything after shipping. He got the camera for $80 and each pack of film for $15. Both products were a little more expensive than usual because I got them in December, so Christmas was coming up. I also got everything from my favorite online photo and video store bhphotovideo.com, and I would recommend that site to everyone for all your photo and video needs.
An Instax camera is an instant camera, meaning when you press the shutter release button, it automatically shoots out a little physical copy for you to have. Which is super cute and convenient in my opinion. They’re fun to keep and save for your own memories or to give away to friends.
It’s a very VERY simple camera to use. As long as you’re not stupid, you can pretty much figure out how it works and how to use it.
But here’s a simple overview of this camera.
— — —
Functions on the camera:
The front of the camera includes the button on the side of the lens, which shoots the lens out and turns on the camera; the shutter release button, and also a dial which will automatically light up and indicate which setting it recommends you be on based on the lighting available. The dial settings include indoors, cloudy, sunny, really sunny, and hi key. And all you do is twist the dial to the appropriate setting.
The back of the camera is where the film loads and tells you how many exposures you have left in a little bubble towards the bottom, along with a little side hatch for the batteries and a little slot on the top where the photos will come out from.
— — —
How to load film:
The film comes in little cartridges, that you simply place in the opening in the back of the camera once you open the hatch. It has a little yellow line on the inside of the camera and also on the cartridge, and you just line it up and place the cartridge in the camera then shut the hatch. I’m unable to show a photo of this because I currently have a cartridge in my camera and opening the hatch would expose the film, thus ruining all of them. But it’s really easy to figure out how to put the film in. It’s just something you learn when you actually have the camera.
You’ll want to turn the camera on and press the shutter release button once. This won’t use any real film, but it will take the film cover off for you and it will come out from the top of the camera.
After that you can use your camera normally and have fun shooting.

As far as quality goes, you can’t expect to get a super clear photo or the best quality since it is an instant camera. It’s the simplest form of a point and shoot camera and anyone who has owned an original instant camera, such as a Polaroid, knows what kind of quality you should be expecting.
These are some photos that I have taken with my Instax Mini 8 camera. Obviously the quality of the photos below aren’t going to be the best since they are physical copies and all I can do is take photos of them. But they look better in person, trust me.
— — —
Even though I do own a professional DSLR camera and love going out to photograph with it, I absolutely love my instant camera just as much.
My DSLR is more for real photography, obviously. For my landscape and nature shoots, or to blow up and make prints with, while my Instax is more for little in the moment memories with friends, not so much for real quality photos. They just have different uses.
Overall, I think this camera is great! It’s really cute and fun to use and to bring to parties or on little adventures. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is wanting to get one.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!(:
Just the other day I was nominated for the Liebster Blog Award. This is actually the second time I’ve been given this blog award, the first being in May, but silly me didn’t follow through with it.
But this time I will! Obviously, since I’m here, and I’m writing this x)
First off, I want to thank Mia at The Life Stories for nominating me this time around(: Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and check it out and read some stuff(:
So other than thanking the blogger who nominated you, the rest of the rules following this award are:
1. Posting the award badge on your blog.
2. Answering the questions from your nominator.
3. Nominating other bloggers.
4. Posting ten questions for them to answer.
So here are my answers to my nominator’s questions(:
1. Action movie or rom-com movie? Depends on my mood, really. I love action movies with all the suspense and explosions and normal people somehow being indestructible when the world is ending; but I also enjoy a good romantic comedy too, if it’s done right. Like if the dialogue is well written and snarky or incredibly witty and sarcastic, then I’ll go for it.
2. Do you like the genre metal? If yes, what are your favorite bands? I love metal. Progressive metal to be exact. My favorite bands from that genre would have to be Gru and Tool(:
3. Are you addicted to anything? Like a hobby or any food or anything? I’m kind of addicted to being outside. Like I don’t care what I’m doing, I just have to be outside and not cooped up in a house somewhere. Being outside makes me happy x)
4. What do you prefer more- Graphic novels or novels without any illustrations? Novels without illustrations, for me. I like when I’m reading and can mentally illustrate in my head what’s happening in the novel, without the help of already there illustrations.
5. In a theatrical play, would you rather be backstage or under the spotlight? It really depends on what the play is about. If it’s something I’m into or interested in, then I’ll be on stage. But working backstage would be super fun as well.
6. Are you open minded about the paranormal? Or do you not believe in anything you can’t prove? I’m kind of a skeptic of all things, not just paranormal or supernatural. I don’t necessarily believe in ghosts or spirits or demons but I certainly don’t deny the fact that they could exist.
7. Best phase of your life- High School or College? Neither. High school was pretty bad, and I probably won’t be attending university any time soon, but whatever. But the best phase of my life, was probably last autumn. When I accomplished so many things for the better.
8. What’s your favorite ice cream? Mint chocolate chip, if it’s in a tub. And Strawburry Shortcake if on a stick.
9. If you could go out on a date with one famous celeb, who would it be? Oprah!
10. How many languages can you speak/read/write/understand? Just English. I’d like to learn other languages but I honestly feel like I’m just completely unable to learn another one fully.
I chose to nominate the five following blogs:
Be sure to stop by each of those blogs! They’re all awesome bloggers and definitely worth checking out.
And my ten questions for my nominees are:
1. If given the opportunity to travel to the past and change a course of your life, would you? What would you change?
2. Would you rather know when and how you’re going to die, or just find out when the time comes?
3. Favorite music genre and why?
4. What do you do when you’re all alone in your room?
5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
6. Have you ever done something and regretted it right away? If yes, what was it?
7. Biggest turnoff in a man/woman?
8. What’s been your favorite part about today, so far?
9. Is there a food you absolutely refuse to eat?
10. What are some of the first things you do when you wake up?
And that’s it!
Thanks again for nominating me for this award! I’m looking forward to reading my nominee’s answers(:
Have a great day everyone!(:
Yesterday I went to the Vans Warped Tour here in Vegas, which I’ve been looking forward to for months, and it was pretty awesome! It’s always awesome. And it seems to get bigger and bigger every year. I had a really good time and I love getting to see bands play live, and buying merch, and just being in that atmosphere.
In case you don’t know, the Vans Warped Tour is an all day, outdoor, traveling music festival that originally showcased punk rock music but now features diverse genres of over 100 well known and rising bands. There’s at least seven different stages set up throughout the venue and each band gets 30 minutes set time and bigger bands get 40. There’s also booths set up everywhere, almost like a flea market kind of thing, where there’s band merch tents, record labels, clothing lines, etc, where people can browse and buy things, and maybe meet and talk to their favorite bands at their tents. It’s a pretty good time(:
But being an all day outdoor festival, and being in Vegas… the weather was killer. 115 degree temperatures wtf. Thank goodness for shade tents and water misters. Even then, everybody was a burning sweaty mess. But it’s Warped Tour, being a sweaty gremlin is just part of it.
I didn’t take a lot of photos at all, so I don’t have much to share with you guys. I wanted to, but I was really just in the moment enjoying the music so taking photos wasn’t the first thing on my mind.
I did, however, get a few photos of the guys from a Japanese band called Crossfaith. I didn’t really know anything about them nor have I ever even heard of them, but man they were so good! I really enjoyed watching them. I would say their sound is like, electronic metalcore I suppose.
My favorite set of the day was definitely from Crown The Empire. They played really well and I had a lot of fun watching them. They’ve gotten pretty popular pretty fast, and they put on a really good show! So if anyone is going any Warped Tour date, Crown The Empire is definitely worth checking out(:
After CTE’s set, I went to their signing at their merch tent and got my CTE vest that I had gotten earlier, signed by all of the members. Which was awesome(: They were all super nice and friendly and just seemed like really cool and happy guys. I’m glad I got to meet them and see them play.
Overall, Warped Tour was a great experience. As always. And I can’t wait for next year!(:
Just remember, if you’re going to Warped, stay hydrated and drink lots of water throughout the day. Even if you’re not thirsty. You need it.
Have fun and take care of yourself at Warped you guys!
Yo! Hey everybody, sorry for the lack of posts lately. It’s been a little over a week since I’ve written about anything. Normal people would say something like ‘I’ve just been super busy and so much is going on and I didn’t have time to write’, but you know what, I’ve just been a lazy bum kabob.
Anyways, today I wanted to talk about enjoying the little things in life.
For me, it’s really the simplicity of little things that make me happy. I don’t need fancy or expensive things, or to go out all the time and spend money on things so that I feel somewhat of a satisfaction in happiness. Sometimes it’s the simple things that mean the most.
Things like waking up in the morning and making myself some waffles and green tea and eating my breakfast outside, make me happy. There’s nothing better than breathing fresh air in the morning.
I love walking to the park and sitting down somewhere and watching the clouds and waiting for the sunset. I always get that little burst of inspiration when watching a sunset. It’s beautiful. And it’s like everything in the world is at peace and in perfect harmony for once. It makes me feel empowered and at rest.
Seeing the sunlight shine through the trees, children playing, and random acts of kindness from random ass people always seem to make me happy.
Things like spending the day being bummy with my best friend and doing nothing, pretty much compose the most perfect day. Most of the time we’ll just be at home and talk, or act dumb, and just entertain ourselves.
I just feel like everybody is so superficial now a days and people don’t appreciate life’s simple pleasures. They’re easily overlooked because most of the time they’re right under your nose. I appreciate them because they’re so simple yet so much more gratifying than any grand display of life because I get to experience them everyday.
‘Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.’ -Robert Brault
Have a good day everyone!(:
Today my cousin and I went to the pet store and played with a few dogs for a couple of hours, like usual. Then at the last minute as the store was closing, we decided to buy a friend. Since we couldn’t afford a dog at the time we got a Betta fish! Woot Woot! He is a beautiful teal color and also has darker shades of blue and some red. We named him Jipetto(: And he is awesome. He now has a perfect little home on my dresser.
