Enjoying The Little Things

Yo! Hey everybody, sorry for the lack of posts lately. It’s been a little over a week since I’ve written about anything. Normal people would say something like ‘I’ve just been super busy and so much is going on and I didn’t have time to write’, but you know what, I’ve just been a lazy bum kabob.

Anyways, today I wanted to talk about enjoying the little things in life.

For me, it’s really the simplicity of little things that make me happy. I don’t need fancy or expensive things, or to go out all the time and spend money on things so that I feel somewhat of a satisfaction in happiness. Sometimes it’s the simple things that mean the most.

Things like waking up in the morning and making myself some waffles and green tea and eating my breakfast outside, make me happy. There’s nothing better than breathing fresh air in the morning.

I love walking to the park and sitting down somewhere and watching the clouds and waiting for the sunset. I always get that little burst of inspiration when watching a sunset. It’s beautiful. And it’s like everything in the world is at peace and in perfect harmony for once. It makes me feel empowered and at rest.

Seeing the sunlight shine through the trees, children playing, and random acts of kindness from random ass people always seem to make me happy.

Things like spending the day being bummy with my best friend and doing nothing, pretty much compose the most perfect day. Most of the time we’ll just be at home and talk, or act dumb, and just entertain ourselves.

I just feel like everybody is so superficial now a days and people don’t appreciate life’s simple pleasures. They’re easily overlooked because most of the time they’re right under your nose. I appreciate them because they’re so simple yet so much more gratifying than any grand display of life because I get to experience them everyday.

Have a good day everyone!(:
