Today was absolutely beautiful. I got to enjoy some time in a place I haven’t explored since I was around 8 years old. Floyd Lamb State Park is really only right down the street from where I live and we’ve never made a trip there. But today we did. My dad, mother, and I went for only a couple of hours, and walked around, fed the ducks and geese, took photos, saw a BUNCH of beautiful peacocks, and just enjoyed being outdoors. It was fun to roam around and see everything once again. It’s still as peaceful as I remember it ten years ago.
Enjoy these photos from today at Floyd Lamb Park(:
The geese and ducks were so adorable. The cute little spotted duck kept following me around and I wanted to take him home. Lol
Those photos took me nearly ten minutes to take. I was trying to get as close as I could without scaring them too much and this was the best I could do. But they look pretty cool(:
I love this photo and I think it turned out fantastic. It almost looks too perfect of a scene. When I took this, I thought that I’d have to fix the brightness but it came out perfection(: I love the depth and shadows in this photo.
It was so beautiful and peaceful while I was there. I will definitely be going back to enjoy some nature and capture more moments.
